Location? How do you know you need a new turbo?
Did a mechanic tell you? Did they not offer to supply it?
Tbh, if a mechanic will install it they probably want to source it themselves.
Or will you install it DIY?

Van died on the road would not start. Mechanic got it going by disconnecting the turbo or something. Mechanic is fitting it, I said I would source one. He recommended API in Dublin. I want to get a few more prices.

Search on ebay lots of motor factors advertising on it. Remember to include postage it will give you idea of price to compare to local suppliers.

In this case you're better off getting the mech to source it. If it goes wallop they'll most likely blame you.

plus if you get a second hand one you cant expect your mechanic to stand over it even if he sources and fits it..
