How long should it take for the company to issue a quote after sending in all necessery documents and certs.

I'll give this a bump by asking another question.

What's the situation when you are in the process of buying. Do you just fill out the online quote saying it's a place you own and live in (as opposed to rent) and give all the relevant details and plough ahead.

What if the sale was to fall through last minute?

In this instance you are better phoning, after getting an online quote if you wish (they nearly always give you an additional discount if you phone anyway and ask them to beat the online quote). You then choose the date you wish the cover to start, and only pay then.
