Paying in full 3 months in advance for wedding abroad?

    Hi,myself and my partner are getting married abroad this summer and the travel agent we booked with is asking for full payment for the wedding package three months before the wedding.I am just wondering is this the norm?

    if you have booked you have signed a contract and your bound by whatever you signed to do. Whats the norm therefore has no bearing.

    Our contract just said the balance was due on the wedding day.no mention of paying this far in advance

    then absolutly refuse to pay. Point them to the contract and dont let them pressure you otherwise
