Was wondering if it is possible to get a copy of the native "reader" program/app that is part of Win8 that reads PDFs to run on Win 7 and if so where to get it? Adobe x is giving me the ****s when it comes to alternate colour schemes. Reader was good when I had Win8 but that was all that was good about it in my view so I went back to 7.

I use foxit reader so im not sure about windows 8.

looking around the pdf reader seems to be called just window reader.

    http://windows-reader-windows-8.en.softonic.com/

it says its not compatible with windows 7 its only for 8

firefox has a new built in pdf reader YMMV

at this stage you acrobat is a complete joke with regard to the constant security patches for blotware features that a pdf reader should never have had in the first place

note: foxit did get a security patch recently - but nothing like monotony of adobe fixes
