So, looking to go somewhere on the continent in the first week of april. dont do that much travel, so have absolutely no idea of where to find cheap flights/hotels or even what destination would be good (and neither of us have any other languages so nowhere in particular!)!! basically looking for somewhere for myself and GF to go for five days for some sort of sunny, mildly boozy but not mental holiday, hoping to keep flights+hotels to 4/500 max between us. neither of us have been on hols in ages so we dont even know where to start, so any tips would be mucho appreciated!

Tip #1: Pick a different week.

March 31st is Easter Sunday and all of the schools here and probably in the UK will be off for the week so if you can avoid it, I'd pick a different week for a holiday as flights and hotels will cost a lot more given the extra demand.

How about Ibiza? Return flights with Ryanair are €80 departing 2nd April returning 9th. €200 - €250 should get you a nice apartment. I've never been but hearing lots of good things about it.

Try using an app called skyskanner, great for a go any where search.
Type in where you want to fly from, then narrow it down by price, dates or place, really easy to use.
we recently found cheapest flights to USA on it.
