Silicone shoild work but it will be temporary. They dont come with screws for the craic!

You could also use chemical mortar and it will never come off

again you spend the money all all the fandangals it'd be cheaper to head to a hire shop and rent a drill for a day

Tech 7 might work but won't last you need to screw it so get a lend of a drill or something.

Buy a cheap plug in drill in argos and a few drill bits. 25 euro will buy you one if its only for the odd job around the house.

You will buy a cheap cordless or mains drill in the likes of Argos or any of the builders providers for around 25 euro these days.

You can buy a range of bathroom accessories now that stick to tiles. There is no shower holder but there is nothing stopping you buying a cup holder and fashioning onto it in some way.

A word of warning though... I once used one of those suction type accessories in my ensuite - and unluckily for me (probably a one-in-a-million chance) afetr a few months the bloody thing fell off the tiles and landed with its sharpest point onto the shower tray. Caput. :eek:Had to replace the lot. And of course when you remove a shower tray the bottom tiles get damaged, etc. etc :(:(

Wouldn't trust any of them. Would use a bit of tec7 instead

They have changed a lot. There is cheap and poor and expensive and good. I am of the same mind when it comes to tiles. There is a crowd in Donabate(not danabate bathrooms but they might know) that imports very good ones.

Just heard on homes under the hammer this morning a fellow stuck Radiators to the walls. He said they only lasted a few Months until they heard a crash in the night and a mess everywhere. How stupid is that.?
Buy a Drill and do the Job right, you'll feel better about it in the end.

That "no nails glue stuff" which you are referring to is sh1te.

Forget any advice above suggesting use of anything other than a drill, tile/masonry bit, plugs and screws. If your in the D15 area, i'll lend you everything you need. Gratis.

The fact you don't have a drill you mightn't know this. When you mark the hole positions get a sharp nail and lightly and I mean lightly tap it with a hammer on the hole positions. This is to chip away a tiny bit of tile and that way the drill bit won't slide all over the tile or you could buy a tile bit as instead

Use masking tape over the tile.
Easier to mark and stops the bit from skipping too.

Why would you use a hammer drill on wall tiles? Everyone is telling the OP to buy/get a drill. Nobody is explaining to him how to use it on wall tiles.

Just cause its a hammer drill doesnt mean the hammer function cant be turned off for specific jobs.
