    Hi

Getting married in the Carlow area in 2014 and trying to sort out a band.
We have tried a few (The Best Men, The Good Guys, Pink Champagne, Perfect Day, Blush) but all are booked up for our date.

Just wondering can anyone recommend any other good bands?

Has anyone seen Entourage or Goodfellas performing at a wedding? Both are available but Goodfellas seem expensive.

When roughly is the date and what kind of band would you like, as in musical style? Also have you got a rough budget?

I've booked midnight sounds for my wedding, they are great to deal with and would recommend them, a friend of mine booked a few good men and they are meant to be good too

Date is August 2014, we just want a band that plays your normal wedding set list- rock/pop & a few Waltzes for the oldies.
Budget is around the 2k mark, hoping this would include DJ

    Hi tink2

Have you heard Midnight Sound play at a wedding?

Nope at a showcase, we saw a number of bands and liked their manner and their style of music the best. I'm sure you could go along to a wedding if you asked them to set it up. I saw on twitter they played at Dunboyne a couple of weeks ago.

Do you know what price your friend paid for a few good men?

Planning on calling them to see if they`re free for my wedding day.

I got married last June and booked the Party Kings for my (our??) wedding. We'd been to a wedding the year before and heard them play and loved them. They had everyone up dancing all night long and were a pleasure to deal with too.
We paid €1900 for the band and DJ.

We booked the Bentley Boys - who were similar to what you have looked at, got married 6 months ago and people still talking about them!

I'll second that. We had them at our wedding two weeks ago and the dance floor never cleared the whole night. Everyone who was there is still raving about them to my mammy :D

We just booked Hush for ours, they're from Tullamore but travel all over. Went to see them in Westport last night and they were fantastic, the whole place was buzzing. Haven't seen them at a wedding but I don't forsee any problems. And a great price it seems too, €1300 inc dj
