What qualifications are accepted by County Planning Auithorities for work related to home extensions, modiications etc. Does the person have to be a fully qualified and accredited architect, or will lesser qualifications, such as a person with a diploma in a building and planning related disipline be acepted. I need some plans drawn for a house modification, but don't want to incur the cost of an architect, the job is really very small, but I want to ensure that his/her report, plans etc will be accepted by the planners.
