Tenants contents insurance.

    Hey there,

    Moving next week and with it getting some new insurance. Can anyone recommend a good insurance company for contents insurance for an apartment?

    Looking forward to any suggestions you can give.

    when i in the apartment last july 2012 was my renual, i went with zurick via chill.
    I think I paid 100e bang on, was quoted 125 and I said I would call them back but to not let me go off the phone he offered a "speical" of 100.
    it was 2nd floor apartment, contents 25k(had to be this) as I had two 3 items on all risks, laptop @ 1k, chain & bracelet at 1200 total.
    they do NOT require the jewellery to evaluated up to 5k, some insurance want it evaluated regardless of the value - which could cost money to do

    was quoted 190 with 123.ie for 10k contents and accident cover. Think I will give chill a call tomorrow :) thanks for that.

    I got mine through Cornmarket (its RSA I think). €110 for the year.
