What is a clutch putt? I've searched for an answer online but all I got was Youtube links.

Clutch is a term used a lot in American sports that means the ability to perform a task when it really matters/when the pressure is on.

You'll often hear it in American Football or Basketball, when a player is known for regularly scoring the game winning points they'll be described as a clutch player or a player with the ability to make a clutch play.

Edit: For a more relevant example, Poulter would have made some clutch putts during the last day of the Ryder Cup.

Clutch is a Yankee doodle expression for performing while under pressure, so a clutch putt is a putt in a highly pressurised situation. A clutch player is someone who performs a lot of these.
