Once had a Fiat 124 I still say it's the best Car I ever drove. It was so far ahead of it's time with Disc Brakes etc and 0 to 60 in under 11 secs. I had some great times in that Car and took it to Norway for my Honeymoon. Still have the Photos. a Great Car, Id love to find one now to rebuild as a project.?

Hopefully the cattle will be removed from the showfield for a few days before this years event. You could hardly walk around the field last year with all the cowpats around.

I still remember striping and rebuilding my 124 with great success. A total pleasure to do and drive afterwords. Bought a Mirafiora afterwards and what a disappointment. Then a Uno for the Wife, A Sciento for my Daughters first Car then she got a Punto and an Alpha 156 which we still have. I now have a Mutipla myself. So yes I think I can say I have a soft spot for Fiats. Looking forward to the Show now.

Does it have to be a 'classic' club ? have you considered just a 'Fiat Motor Club'. at the rate Fiats are selling (or not selling) at the moment, 'modern' Fiats would probably be rarer than 'classic' Fiats. When was the last time you saw a Croma (new type) or a Sedici, or an original Ulysse, or even a facelift original. A club that caters for all Fiats could be benificial for many reasons, for example, someone who drives a new Fiat, might have always driven Fiats, and so could have knowledge of earlier cars which could be benificial to someone who recently aquired an older Fiat, and needs information on the model.
    Just a suggestion....

Well in this case the club is been set up by owners of classic fiats for classic fiats , could be a chance for you to set up a club for modern fiats ;)

Fair point, but what exactly is a 'classic Fiat' ?....Is a 1971 Fiat 127 a classic, is a 1983 Fiat 127 a classic ? So does it follow that a 1983 Uno is a classic, and therefore a 1994 Uno must be a classic. In which case the 1993 Punto must also be a classic, and as such a 1999 Fiat Punto is also a classic. I'll discount the MK2 Punto as its obviously a little new.
But where does that leave the Fiat Coupe, or Barchetta (and there are a few).
I'm not trying to nitpick here, but my point was that a 'Fiat Motor Club' can cater for everyone.
God knows, Fiat needs all the support it can get these days !!

always liked Fiats, we had plenty in family

Question , how much is a fairly ok restored 1950 s original irish topopino worth?

    I will guess 10 k euro.

    Reason am considering a project

If you look at the Facebook photos you'll see a bunch of 80s and 90s Fiats there.

I think you may be guilty of being very Irishcentric as is often the case here.
FIAT are the 10th biggest selling car brand in the world and its a fairly major feat considering they have not yet started selling in China.

I fail to see why suggesting a Club that caters for 'all' Fiats rather than 'classic' Fiats could be considered Irishcentric.
I am well aware of how 'big' Fiat is globally, having worked for the organisation for over 35 years. I'm also aware of the less than 1% market share thay have at the moment. There may well be a generation of people here in Ireland who will never ever see or even drive a Fiat at the rate they are not selling, much in the same way most people have little or no idea about Lancia for example. Alfa Romeo too, are a brand in decline in Ireland.
For example the Lancia Motor Club in the UK catesr for all Lancias, and its not unusual to see models from the 1900's up to today at Club events.
A Club that is inclusive will only make people more brand aware. After all, todays cars are tommorows 'classics'
I would love to see a display that for example featured old and new Multiplas, old and new 500's, old and new Pandas. Maybe an 850 Spyder and a Barchetta.
    Hardly Irishcentric !!
