IBEC graduate program - your experiences?

I'm thinking of applying for the IBEC EOP grad program, and am wondering if anyone who has done it before can give me some feedback on what their experience has been? Or someone who is still in the process of doing it?
My main worry is that, after however many years at school from infants to Leaving Cert, and then a 4 year degree, I'm not sure how much energy or motivation I have for the academic element of it... so, was the academic side of it very intense? What was the work/travel side like?
