Shim/Spacers on Shifters

Hey,

Trying to shorten the bus 105 shifters as I have small hands. Boyfriend threw out the instructions.. I can 't seem to find much info on the web?

Can anyone advise how to take them out? We tried pulling it out..

If you are trying to shorten the travel then you should be inserting a pad or replacing a 5mm one with a 10mm.
Zoom in on the attached diagram to see how the retainer works, essentially lift the tab on the pad up over the retainer tooth.
