Hi all, for those of you using Twitter, we're trying to get the word out there about assaults on frontline staff...these don't make the news as often as they should.

Many of these workers are not provided with injury at work payment schemes. Some of them can never work again due to their injuries. Some of them are killed in the line of duty.

The public need to be aware of the risks taken by these workers on a daily basis, and these workers need the public to stand behind them when they are fighting for their rights with regards to pay, working conditions etc. Support your frontline workers!

If you hear or know of an assault that happens a paramedic, Garda, nurse, firefighter etc. then please tweet using hashtag:

    #frontlineassault

Thanks, and please spread the word!
