Has anyone been to the Algarve in May, specifically Faro, and can they please let me know what weather they experienced?

I was there last May (Albufeira). The weather was lovely. Sunbathing weather - still a little cold for me to go in the sea though!

weather will be lovely in May, from march to early Nov the weather will generally be great for Irish going over. May & sept are the nicest months there as the sun will be out but wont be hitting the 30's like June-Aug.

never spent time in faro apart from the airport, the way i see it the further you go west from Faro the nicer the algarve becomes as the high rise apartment blocks reduce.

Can anyone suggest some holiday companies/websites who offer cheap packages??
Hoping to get away in May...possibly to The Algarve too.
    Thanks x

some of my family went to albufeira last May, there was some very unexpected hot weather reaching 35degrees for a few days. I think you could expect some very pleasant sunshine though.

Falcon Travel - there packages don't start until the last week in May.
Thomas Cook - there packages don't start until 18 May.

Your best options and probably cheapers would be:

Aer Lingus and Click and Go offer package holidays

    Sunway
