    anyone know if this can be cleaned as I have heard a few peoplse mention it or will I have to replace?
    if so anyone know where I can get a good one

    It can be cleaned, but weather or not it will make any difference depends entirely on the problem your having.

    When cold it cuts out while idling, once warmed up its not too bad but does chug a bit.
    Have replaced plugs (with genuine Renault) and all 4 coilpacks

    Its a Renault. I'd worry if there werent ! :D
    currently low oil pressure due to a faulty switch, before that all seemed ok

    I think these 1.4 engines are a bit fussy on the quality of oil they use. I used fuchs titan stuff from gsf when I changed the oil myself and had no cold start problems. Mechanic put oil from a big barrel (no name) in the last service and it has had issues when cold.

    last oil change was Castrol, not too long ago
