    Love these posts.

I imagine its taking a lot of the leg work out of shopping for families in particular who would purchase the above items on a weekly basis and can plan their shopping around the above info.

Out of curiosity I thought I would try putting this weeks offers that Dfbemt and Rua 1 put up into an excel spreadsheet and work out a per kilo price or a unit price.

I was surprised to see that Tesco and Supervalu were coming out tops in so many offers . Its a limited comparrison as we don't know what size eg 6 tomatos or Oranges are in different shops.

It would be much better for comparative purposes if we knew a price per kilogram for all products rather than a pack price.

Also the grade or quality of fruit and vegetables needs to be considered as I have found Tesco can have some awful bad quality stuff in their fruit and veg offers when compared to Lidl and Aldi.

I've found SuperValu to have the best quality when it comes to these offers if that adds anything to the thread.
