Yes. Both times, once I'd realised that I was about to die and there was nothing I could do about it, I had a wonderful feeling of peace. No white tunnels, just acceptance.

Obviously I was mistaken. Survived both incidents without even any physical injuries.

If you're talking about that hippy shit then no.

If you're talking about actual near death experiences then yes, I was nearly killed by a car when I was 8 or so.

I was in London there a few years ago and if I'd been in that spot on the 25th January 1944 at 15.27 I'd have been blown to pieces by a doodlebug bomb.

I had one when I was a baby. Not since though....

Yes sure had a few actually...

One of the most recent was when left the road 15-20 feet down off the road into a ditch and managed to wrap the car around the only tree and take most of the driver side out of it and only thing wrong with me was a tiny little scratch on my wrist from the glass.

You could say I was very lucky.

Ok lets see, I was born not breathing.
Nearly got knocked down at 6 (my fault).
    Nearly drowned at 8.
Few close calls with vehicles while cycling through the last 2 years.

Yes, years ago a person pointed a gun at me, while walking towards me he lost his balance and fell over.
The magazine fell out of the gun just as I thought he was going to shoot.

I had a shite haemorrage that night of almost biblical proportion.

I love how people can recite instances where they were 'so close' to getting knocked down or 'drowning' when they were younger. More than likely didn't happen, or was just a case of being seriously blown out of proportion in their head. 'Few close calls with vehicles while cycling...' ah give it over ffs... Come back to us when your heads hanging off by a string and you're struggling to type us your reply.

Fell off a ladder in work once and got knocked out....sometimes I wonder if I died and never woke up, and what I am doing now is actually the afterlife.

Oh I apologize I forgot to mention my almost daily near death experience from internet trolls, where would we be without ye? ;)

Presumably After Hours in that case would be a kind of Limbo, where one has to amass a certain number of posts or thanks in order to get into heaven. I've heard crazier theological ideas.

2 years ago the apartment above the one myself and my partner lived in flooded and the water came down into our flat,
anyways our landlord told us to plug out everything just in case,
I was plugging out a tv and I got electrocuted and was thrown across the room and according to my partner was out cold for two mins,
Don't remember being out cold though.
However ever since have being very wary.
Thinking back I should of turned of the mains switch!

Got caught in a rip tide and almost drowned. I had about a 5 minute struggle trying to swim back to shore, went down a few times. Thought I was a gonner.

I also had a lucky escape from a burning house. Woke at 3am in a smoke filled room, opened the bedroom door and was overcome by smoke. I woke up another housemate and we both ran down stairs past the fire and out the front door to escape. Stood on the front lawn laughing our holes off before alerting neighbours to the fire. It was terrifying, I left the house in only my underpants and I lost virtually everything I owned but we just couldn't help laughing.

Climbed the fence of the Lion enclosure at Dublin Zoo, just to get a better view but somehow I managed to fall in. There was mass panic as the crowd looked on. Long story short I beat the fuk out of the head lion with my bare hands and the rest backed off. I was up for the fight, he wasn't, might have been different on another day but I'm winning that fight 8/10 imo.
