Repair dents before trading in?

    hi, just wondering what's best to do here. i want to trade in my car.it has a dent on the boot door. should i get it repaired first or just try trading in with it as is?
    what's more cost effective?

    It can be done cheaper by the garage. I had damage on an otherwise faultless car recently and they didn't mind at all. It happened after the first viewing and deal almost done but they were ok about it and will fix it themselves.
