I haven't been there either, so can't help you there.
But tickets-wise, you can check with Eurasia shop in Fonthill Retail park and they might be able to book cheap tickets for you.Similarly, other Indian shops might be able to help you. You can still check online if you get better deals.

Bangladesh is extremely run down and povertised, I have not been there myself but know some people who have and it is really 3rd world. So prepare yourself for that.
