    My Dad was talking about one of the 'tries of the century' today, but unfortunately he doesn't remember the details, other than that it was on a Lions tour in the 70's. Any idea what he's talking about?

    Cliff Morgan's commentary reallly cemented that try in the public imagination. He was only doing the commentary that day due to Bill McLaren being sick.

    As for the greatest, try, well it's a toss up between two French pieces of magic for me:

    Phillippe Saint-Andre in 1991 v England and Jean-Luc Sadourny in 1994 v New Zealand.

    Yep, in 1989. A great match where Jonathan Davies also scored a cracker for Wales. Ireland v Scotland that year was also a great game.

    Ba bas v All Blacks nothing comes close to that try.Hairs on the back of the neck stuff words cannot describe how good it was.
