Samsung S3 interfering with car radio

Hi. Not sure if anyone can help here. I have a Renault Fluence car with bluetooth facility. When I pair the Samsung mobile with the car, there is inteference on the radio. It goes dead for around two seconds and then comes on again. That keeps happening over and over again

Not sure if it'll correct the problem, because it sounds more like a software issue, but try turning off "auto-frequency" on the radio. A similiar thing happenned to my dad's Focus. The radio would skip for maybe half a second while it jumped between frequencies every day.
