brown log books

    i have a couple of log books,,, 1 is from a 67 variant,1 from 73 bedford pick up,,80s ford transit pick up and 70s ts 185 susuki,,,,,and i am wondering are they worth anything

    Not unless you have the vehicles to go with them, anything else is illegal.

    stick them up on 'adverts' see what offers you get. people collect these things.

    nope, just people who use them to ring vehicles. They belong to the Dept of Transport and you may not sell them

    i think there are genuine people who collect anything!. i have a drawer full of those old brown books at home, some for cars, some for motorbikes ect, not selling them though. and deffo not handing them in.

    yes i'm sensing it is frowned upon,,,but i did not say they were for sale,,just are they worth anything,i might start collecting them my self,,,

    but the department of transport own them,,,,ohhh wait does that mean they own the car i'mdriving now,,,,well wish they wud pay the road tax on it then
