Washing machine making noise

    My whirlpool washing machine has started making terrible noise when it spins. Its 18mths old so not under guarantee!! Its like the drum is shaking. It washes normally but this starts towards the end at the spinning. Anyone able to help!

    Whirlpool have a standard 2 year Parts & Labour warranty for a long while now (it replaced their 8 year Parts warranty) so it should be under warranty...

    Sounds like the bearings are shot, and/or possibly the drum shaft.

    Great to hear its a year guarantee, I will give Whirlpool a call in the morning.
