    Hi Strongbow10,

    You will need to make an appointment to open an account at your local branch. You can find contact details for your branch here.

    When opening a current account, you will need to bring some form of photo id and proof of address.

    For photo id, you can bring:
    - your passport;
    - a driving licence;
    - a european id card.

    The following are some examples of acceptable documents that you can use for proof of address:
    - a provisional or full driving license if you haven't used that as proof of ID
    - a current original financial institution statement dated within the last 3 months (including Credit Union)
    - a letter from an employer dated within the last 6 months
    - a current original Social Insurance document

    I hope this helps and if you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.
    Thanks
    Linda
