I'm getting tired of my old XPS630i and will be looking to upgrade the whole sytem in the near future. I cant really do that all right now since money and time is a little bit tight atm. So a graphics card upgrade might be the best option for me.

    Here's my setup.
    XPS 630i
    Q6600 (@2.4GHz) currently OC'ed to 3.0GHz
GeForce GTX 275 (Sparkle) with 9800 GT
    4GB Dual Channel DDR2 800MHz [4x1024MB]
    2TB (7200) + 640 GB (7200) + 250GB (7200) harddrive
Logitech G700 Mouse and G19 Keyboard
    Samsung SyncMaster 932MW (1440x900)
    5.1 surround sound
    Win8 64bit

I'm just wondering if there are going to be limitations on getting some of the most recent cards to work in there? Still on the stock mobo, cpu and ram etc but I have added in two other hard drives there.

What card would you recommend? Which ones would you not recommend? Been looking at the 660/660ti. Obviously, I would only be able to run one of these cards in there since the PSU would definitely not be able to hold up.
I understand that I wouldn't be able to get the best out of the new graphics card with my current mobo/cpu etc but I would like to make the move to DX11 and still be able to use the card when I upgrade in the coming months.
Anyone suggest going to ATI's cards?
    Any advice would be great.

I'd go with a 7850. Even that is overkill for your current resolution.

The 1gb model would be plenty for that res but I'd go with the 2gb model if you are upgrading your screen soon. It's only €10 more

So I finally got the money together and splashed out on the KFA2 GeForce GTX 660 EX OC 2048MB. Should be arriving tomorrow morning. Decided not to go for the Ti version since I think it would be overkill for my current setup. A nice quiet and cool card, or so the reviews have lead me to believe. My current card GTX 275 can actually get REALLY hot with it sometimes reaching 110 degrees in some modern games if I crank up the graphics settings.

Also came with Metro Last Light, $100 of free2play in-game credit as well as a copy of 3D Mark Advanced Edition.

I know I wont be able to get the best out of the card..yet but I'm looking forward to it all the same.
