REPS & hedge cutting

    I've the hedge cutter lined up for thursday to cut what's outlined in my plan. Can I cut more than is in the plan?

    If that's for '12 AFAIK you can also cut what's in your plan for '13, save you doing it this backend.

    Hey just do it, did you find out anymore? I think you can maintain a hedge where it is hitting an electric fence, probably on a 3 year cycle. Not sure about it though.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Any one know the closing date for REPS hedge cutting. Is it the 1st of march

    It's a pity there isn't an anonymous helpline in the dept where you could ask all these awkward questions about their rules and regulations without fear of losing 5% of your SFP.:eek:

    Yeah a 3 year cycle is what the planner recommends. However where visibility along roads is an issue you can cut. In general the department doesn't want to come out and find every hedge in the place has been cut at the same time.

    28th Feb is last day of cutting until 1st September comes around.
