Grail Cab! - Well most of it anyways!

    Got a cab today, one ive wanted for years. Loved the game years ago. its a project cab in the sense it needs the game board, gun and back door. its in decent condition though and will clean up well. it barely fit in the door of my house! Thanks to Mitch! And my wife who bought it for me for my birthday!

    I already have the game cage on the way via ebay!

    Here is a preview.. ill post a couple of more pics when i clean it up.

    Pure random fluke, mitch messaged me showing me his Phoenix cab because i had a battered one. Just through converstation i mentioned time crisis and now its in my kitchen.

    It barely fit in and i mean barely we had to push it through . its a wide cab. No way id get anything bigger than this in.

    Yeah I had the chance of a very cheap Virtua Cop cab before...measurements the seller sent me though put that dream to bed. It physically wouldn't fit in the door :(

    How did you get this one from Mitch to your house?

    Dont think its rear projection, the screen faces up and projects onto a mirror i think.

    When it comes to dedicated cabs, this is my grail cab. Congrats man, I am the darkest of dark green with envy!

    I've seen guns and pedal for it on ebay for very reasonable sums.

    Whether the recoil works on the guns or not now is another thing!

    You can buy them from Namco i think, i found them on their arcade spare parts site anyways. Found them in hong kong new from $140, the guns. I dont fancy buying a second hand one covered in dirt, plus there is no way id settle for one that didnt have the recoil.

    I just bought the game off ebay the weekend and the gun from hong kong with the cable etc brand new! The cab was cheap enough though so i dont care as long as i get it up and running. took it apart and gave it a good clean, came up well, very little damage to it considering, it was mostly just dirt on it.
