Hi, after saving up alot of money to buy a car for my 17th birthday and then finding out the price was far too high for insurance I was wondering how much would it cost for a 17 year old to get insurance on a 125cc bike and what would be the average mpg. The
bike I would like to insure is a Yamaha YZF-R125 or something like it anyways,
    Kind regards

Seen as people keep turning me down can you give me a rough estimate on insurance?

over a grand i would say, did you try liberty? they are usually the only place for a young driver, ask them for a quote on somthing sensible like a suzuki gn 125 aswell just for a comparison, its possible that they just wont quote you on a baby R1

You need to do the IBT first. That's €600.
Only then would you be able to get a quote from the insurance (provided you have a license).

Your insurance could cost €1,300 or so but could be less or more. IBT should be your first priority.
