Hope to re seed some ground in April

Would it be a waste of time spraying round up now, ground is bone dry, small section is bottoms and am afraid that when rains come again I won't be able to travel them

Unless grass is growing I think you'd be wasting time and money.

Well i will soon know. I got green stubles and over wintered ploughed land sprayed with round up today. Some was nice and dry and some was causing the sp sprayer on lgp tyres to bog.

Big difference between spraying stubble and old grassland. ithink it is too early for grassland you want ground temperatures above 7 or 8 degrees and use an activator this early. Also you want weeds like docks and thistles above ground.

Was out with the sprayer today spraying off stubble as well as grassland with roundup biactive. Under pressure to get it done so as not to hold up the ploughing
