I want to start a career in computing/IT and I am just looking for any advice that any of you can give me. I am currently studying a fetac level 5 course. I hope to progress to a degree in computer science/computing.
But I was thinking that I may not finish college and automatically walk into a job. So could you please advise me on how to start a successful career in computing/IT in dublin?
Btw I have yet to decide if I want to get into programming or networking or web design etc. I will make that decision later on in college.
Sorry if this post is in the wrong section.
