Has anyone used them before? Prices seem to beat other places by a bit on some stuff, never heard of them but believe they are a big presence in Poland and UK?

Wonder how any Irish folk got on?

I have just ordered a set of Bike tyres from them, in fairness the earlier issue was mainly mine for not just doing a straight bank transfer.
I was refunded by Moneybookers in a week or so so I didn't lose out.
Oponeo have an Irish bank, BNP Paribas in Dublin so its not even an inter-EU transfer.
I should have the tyres this week and will let you know how I get on.
Their prices on some tyres are very keen! Much better than Eiretyres.

CJ, you were the reason I was reticent about using them before Christmas when I needed a full set!:D
Ended up going with Camskill, but Oponeo.ie are a fair bit cheaper on a lot of stuff.

It still wasn't easy! Oponeo have an account number on their website with 16 digits!
I went to my local AIB to make a transfer and you have to do it at the in-bank machine, trouble is the machine only accepts 8 digit bank account numbers for Irish banks.

In the end I did it at home with that funny little AIB card reader, it worked well in the end though and once the number is in your online banking system it should be easy to make future purchases.

They seem to take paypal now as well so that's even handier again!!
Thanks for the input though, look forward to hearing how you get on with them!

Got my tyres today, they came with DPD and I was sent an email with the order confirmation on the 22nd and they were dispatched on the 26th.
Very happy with them, very fresh tyres the date code on one is 0513 which is the first week of February!
    The second tyre was 5012.
I'll be using them again I am sure.
