There should be a release lever on the centre console. The cross bar has a hydraulic lock. Turn off the lock the jack up the legs and swing the arm all way to one side. Drop the bucket with the teeth into the ground and use it to slide the king post across the cross bar. Then turn the lock back on.

Down by the backhoe controls there is a lever. This unlocks the mounting and you pull or push the bucket into the ground to the left or right and the mounting moves along the rail. Be careful with the cables while you're doing this as they may get caught or torn. Jump out and check them after moving every few inches.

when you are facing the back controls, the lever is just to the right of your left ankle . Check that the hydraulic pipes underneath are free to move without kinking. You will soon get the hang of "rocking" the centre post so that it dos not bind, and slides freely. The hand brake type lever on the left (facing the rear) works a little hydraulic slave cylinder, which raises the cast plate which locks the rear arm onto the cast "knob" on the top of the centre post. This may well be missing................
