I managed somehow to loose this somewhere. The hanger is being held by the Quick release now. Where do I get a new bolt? Are they standard on all bikes or do I need a specific one for a specific brand?

It's more than likely a standard metric size (M3 or M4) though it will have a countersunk head. Bike shop will likely have some. Otherwise try Tucks in Finglas. Something too long can be cut to size if necessary...

Yeah i have a collection of bolts cant seem to get one to fit. I'll give the LBS a shout and see. Its no problem at the moment as skewer holds it secure but there are worries of derailleur & spoke, crash, bang, whallop and crying beside the bike.

Is it an american frame? Dunno if they still use imperial sizes but it's a possibility and, if so, you won't get metric bolts to fit.

Its an Italian frame. The only thing in the shed I could find to fit it is the outside of a schraeder presta converter. Ie the thread on a schraeder valve. Any idea the bolt size this equates to?
