Looking at buying 32 inch T.V. Thoughts appreciated

I'm in the market for a television for my bedroom. I'll be playing my xbox on it, and also using it to watch downloaded movies/tv shows, so a hdmi connection for hooking up my laptop is a prerequisite . It must be either HD ready or full hd also. My budget is 350 euro max, I have looked online, but I would prefer to buy from a store , but if it was the right tv then I would buy online. All suggestions happily appreciated. Thanks

The tesco 'technics' led is good value and great for consoles. You can get a 40" for that money right now. Have one in the bedroom since november and impressed by it. 32" lcd selling for €250, but picture not as sharp:)

Something like the Samsung EH5000 would be a better buy than own-brand Tesco/Lidl/Argos type stuff.

32" is available sub-€300 on Amazon.

Agree, I wouldnt have considered tesco own brand before, but 40" led for €350 is hard to beat. Picture quality better than sony lcd we have in sittingroom (imo)

A lot of people on here really know their stuff with tvs, I can only recommend on my personal experience:)

The Toshiba isn't Saorview approved, if that matters to you.

The LG is probably ok for the money. The supermarket own-brand stuff is a bit of a lottery; depends on the OEM (this can be an issue with "good" brands too). Some are really poor, some would be good enough value.

I like the look of this, and its available for 290 euros. Samsung are probably my preferred tv brand anyway, so I think I'll go with this
