I'm looking for the wording of certain sections, but I don't know which ones because I've never seen the Act.

You might only find it in book form I'm afraid. It doesnt seem to be on Irishstatutebook. As Victor said, even if you do find it, most of it is probably repealed already, you would hav to sift through the legislation coming after it to find out. I wouldnt envy the task.

Except in so far as it is reproduced and saved by post-1992 legislation the 1878 Act was repealed by the Statute Law Revision Act, 2012.
