Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my kitchen tap and I was just told by my father in Wales that screwfix are now delivering to Ireland. I'm thinking about using them as the tap i want i wouldn't have to pay delivery for :). Does anyone have any experience with ordering stuff like this? it would be great to know what I'm letting myself in for.

    Thanks Chris

Yea taps can be quite expensive. Just be careful the fittings will more than likely be metric, so you'll need to change the olives over to imperial ones, but that should be the only major thing. Ikea have a range of taps too, if you want more selection.

Taps in england are high pressure. Thats fine with the cold but your hot will work crap. Not a good idea.

They charge £20 delivery on orders under 100. If you use the uk site, delivery is free on orders over £50 within the uk, get your order delivered through the north of ireland and on to the south with Parcel motel
    for another 3.50

Thanks for all the advise guy's, i chose to get the tap from a local merchant in the end and the hot water pressure is spot on. :)

I did order a drill from Screwfix last week though, luckily the drill i chose was over £100 so i didn't have to pay that rather large delivery charge :) but it arrived in 3 days, so i don't know why they say 5-7 on there site!
