    Hi
    Im confused.com
    Can some one tell me wie my pivet hedge loose,s its leafs in the winte..??
    And it has little black berries on it for a wile....
    Am i doing something wrong.........

    They can loose their leaves. They say it's only in extreme cold. Mine is 3 years old and never dropped its leaves.

    in milder climates it dosnt lose its leaves, but I planted mine 13 years ago here and only in the last 3 years has it started to shed its leaves. The previous two years it shed completely early in the winter, this year it has been a gradual shedding with a big shed recently with the top of the hedge retaining its leaves. The buds have looked blackened at times possibly burnt.

    Its the harsh weather the make them lose the leaves.
