Ski Season in Canada

Is anybody thinking about doing a season of skiiing/boarding? ... or has anyone here done so in the past? If I manage to get through this spiders web of an application process and get a visa I hope to head to either Revelsoke or Fernie for a season of skiing.

I plan on spending as many weekends in Banff as possible snowboarding, hiking and camping. Maybe some bare knuckle bear boxing
