Bringing teenagers to Croatia

We're hoping to head to Croatia for a week at the end of June. Will have a 15 and 13yr old in tow... Any suggestions for best places to head - somewhere with watersports or some similar type activities for them during the day. It would be nice to sample some local atmosphere in the evenings - preferably not too touristy. Anyone been there, done that successfully??

I've been doing some further research, and am looking at Hotel Croatia in Baska Voda, does anyone know if there are surfing or sailing facilities near here? It looks like a not too commercial spot, which would be perfect, but definitely need some activities for during the day...

Baska Voda used to have a nudist beach. Mightn't suit you with the kids?

If the teens are male, then they might think it a great destination!

there are loads of nudist beaches all over the place - but its not as if you will just wander into them - they are a little away from the regular beaches so you will never even encounter one if you don't want to.

A lot of the "beaches" are rock beaches with steps down to very deep water. Don't be expecting soft white sand.
