    Hi all,

    Any Guild SG lovers here?

Reissuing these. I was thinking of getting an SG to go with my Jazzmaster. I always liked these Guilds, and managed to play an old one once upon a time.

Kim Thayil is the man who sparked my interest in them. The fact that the strings go behind the bridge as well would be cool for sonic Sonic Youth type effects which can be done on the Jazzmaster.

Not sure what the neck will be like on these, but looking forward to trying one out. A black one would satisfy my needs...

if it is as good as the older guilds, go for it. i have an old guild s-300d and it is beautiful. nicest fretboard ever. neck is gorgeous too. feels about perfect. i play it thru a fender hotrod deville 2x12. its kinda what electric guitars should sound like...

I wonder what the price will be like in Euros. They´re made in Korea so they will have to be careful with people´s expectations.

Here's a gear rundown of Soundgarden's rig. Kim Thayil is first up and as well as the s-100, I think he shows us a few s-300s as well.

€739 on Thomann, but they're not in stock yet.

That's actually not as high as I had imagined!

Yeah, would like to get a go off one of these if they come into stock here. Would the neck be a thicker one or a thinner one? The one I played had acorns scrolled into the body. It was quite old, so couldn't compare with a new one. I wouldn't be too bothered about where it's made. I'd be more concerned with it's "playability" and how good it is put together...
