How many cattle can you comforably fit in a single bay of a slatted shed. Assuming the cattle are 600kg and the slatts are 12'6?

Is their a legal limit to the number of cattle per bay? Also taking into account the comfort of the Bullocks.

Also would 14'6 slatts make much of a difference?

    Thanks

For feeding space at 15' bays you'll fit
7 dry cows ,hereford cross not big simmys. but they'll be tight
7 in calf heifers ,24 month
    6 heavy in calf cows
9 300 kg weanlings if they line up right
so I reckon 7 600 kg animals if you're not lookin to squeeze 'em too tight
my tanks are 10' 6" and about a foot of concrete front and back giving about 12 feet of width total and there's no room to spare when they're all lying down but they stay very clean.

How wide do slatts get and does it make a difference to the number of cattle n a pen?
