    Hi,
I am currently working on a thesis which looks at the attitudes that counsellor's/therapist's hold towards drug use by clients.

While there is a lot of literature on Abuse/Misuse/Addiction, I have struggled to locate much, if anything, on attitudes to recreational drug use by clients.

That's probably not surprising, considering the hidden character of illicit drug use coupled with a tendency to view all drug use as misuse in certain spheres.

I would appreciate if anyone had come across literature in this area. I'm not discounting any area related to this - that is, anything from Object Relations to Harm Reduction is of interest to me.

    Thanks
