    Hi
    Ive a nissan p12 primera, 1.8 petrol, I ve tried to start it, no joy, ive put a code reader on to look for faults.
    The fault code P1615 came up (Ignition key/immobilizer control module communication - malfunction) which basicaly tells me it cant verify the ignition key as the correct one.

    Can anyone tell me if its possible to replace the NATS antenna/amp without needing it to be coded to the car

    I used to get this occasionally...tried new batteries in it and still didn't work..
    I'd normalyl just give it 2-3 mins and then try again..would work no bother then..
    I think to really fix it was costing in the region of 200-300 so never bothered

    Hi Blazer,

    Ordinarly I would put up with it, but its my wifes car, and I dont want her thinking its unreliable, or getting stuck somewhere, so I need a fix, its easy to remove and replace, I just need to know if it needs to be paired
