Will sim free work?

I'm not the best when it comes to technology, but i'm thinking of buying this particular phone from this seller http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B005G2EEUY/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used&m=A1557VBPU58FTB Will it automatically work when i put in my irish vodafone sim card? will I be able to use vodafone services as normal? does the fact that the phone was bought in UK make any difference? thanks

Sim free phones will work here from uk. Once its unlocked and the correct bands it will work here, and most phones even from the US will work here now

Thanks! and do you just put in your sim and will it work away, or do you have to do something else?

Everything generally works outta the box (texting, calls) with the exception of MMS and internet. Those settings usually need to be entered manually but can be got handy enough from Vodafones website.

Usually the carrier will push the settings to your phone after a few minutes.

Yeah as long as your sim is Irish vodafone also.

SII's are simple to unlock anyway and it takes about 2 minutes.
