Chamonix/Morzine Accommodation Needed

Myself and a friend are planning on going to Chamonix for a long weekend's skiing from 7/3 - 12/3. Seems to be a busy time there (think it's a mid-term break in France) and am having issues trying to find any sort of accommodation. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for B&B/hostel/hotel accommodation which might have some room and that wouldn't be listed on the usual hotel/apartment websites.

Also, would consider going to Morzine for those days (just have flights booked to Geneva so far) but having similar issues finding somewhere to stay. Any advise for there would also be helpful.

Not too fussy, as long as we have our own room and ideally the location would be as close as possible to the main ski lifts/bus routes.

    it's in morzine,
i was emailing them last week and they still had availability,

it's a nice place, with meals included,
there is a nice bar/lounge area to chill in the evenings,

Thanks Derv. Found a place in Chamonix in the end. The tourist website, http://www.chamonix.com/ had some availability for a few hotels. All set to go now!
