Orla Kiely clothes- sizing advice please!

Love Orla Kiely's look book- fabulous outfits in beautiful fabrics...but at a less than awesome price...however there are some great deals on AW stuff on the website. Only problem is that everything I like is only left in a size 8. I would be a 10 but do take an 8 in some labels, eg Marc Jacobs. Now I had a look at the sizing chart and according to the measurements I should be a bigger size but the stuff looks quite roomy. It's still a fair whack to spend on something that might not fit and presumably is not returnable as it is sale stock.

Just wondering if anyone has bought from there before and how you found the sizing? Thanks.

Rosy Posy, how did you get on with the sizes? Are they small fitting?

No, everything was perfect, loose even. The measurements that they give on the website are delusional or maybe vanity? A size 10 is supposed to be a 68cm waist (just under 27") which I have never in my life had- I'd be about 29". The dress has a fitted waist and it fits me perfectly. I would be a size 10 in most shops. I also got a top and a jumper that were loose fitting and were perfect. The quality is unreal- beautiful beautiful fabrics and tailoring. I will be back.

Love her dresses. Do you think these are real? Seem too cheap http://www.peopletree.co.uk/designers/orla-kiely-red-owl-dress

Looks genuine to me. They have some fantastic discounts. Afaics it's something to do with limited pattern runs- they want to only do one pattern for a limited time, when its gone its gone. I got some great discounts on the site. Had a look again and they're not slashed that heavily yet, but I'd say bide your time. That looks like a bargain. Lovely dress.
