I was looking at the price of fuel filters on micksgarage and it seems that blueprint diesel filters are very cheap compared to other brands. That puts me off a wee bit. Are they any good? Does anyone here use them?

Can't speak for their fuel filters but generally speaking I've never had a problem with any Blueprint parts.

Someone said to me that a lot of their stuff is unbranded OEM parts; don't know how true that is though.

I recently had a blue print fuel filter put in the car(diesel) & car is still going strong far as I can tell. I had been using hyundai fuel filters at €45 a go which is crazy, the blue print one was about half that.

I use blueprint oil filters on my car and never had any issues with them. Many blueprint parts are made to oem spec.

    What car is it?

Used them on the avensis td without issue but then that would have ran on anything slightly flammable anyway.

For the newer stuff, I remember ND on the current model renault megane dCi used the renault one as the spurious one was actually not to spec.

Ive been putting them filters on for the past year or so, no problem, have a timing belt, kit and water pump by them waiting to be fitted.

I have Avensis TD, and an Auris D4d. The old td is some workhorse, it has never given me any bother whatsoever.

Blueprint fuel filter in Accord diesel: it causes fuel pressure issues 99% of the time.
Well,to be fair every other spurious fuel filter does the same in the Accord.

Honda ball joints usually last 8-10 years, but we have seen Blueprint ones fail as early as 6 month.
I know reputable indy mechanics who refuse to fit Blueprint suspension parts.

I haven't fitted all that many Blue print suspension parts but I have extensively used their engine parts(service parts, timing belt kits etc) on high performance Japanese cars and they are all OE spec and mostly Japanese OEM made parts, especially tensioner/pulleys etc.

I used blueprint oil filters on my own track car for a couple of years without issue.

I've had a couple of their ball joints not last more than a few months on a Trajet and a Santa Fe but have not had any other issues with any other of their parts that I can think of.

Blue Print filters are pretty good but I would be careful with Micks Garage. I ordered a blue Print air filter from them for a Nissan and the sent me another brand made in Korea. (might have been "Filter Master"). It looked right but the size tolerance was slightly out and it needed to have the lid of the airbox forced to get it closed. I sent it back.

@Navara Man: Mann filters are top class.
