Upgrading crankset, worth it?

I have a a SRAM S300 crankset on my otherwise SRAM RED Black edition Look 566 and am wondering is it worth upgrading to something like a RED crank or similar? Would I notice any difference and what would that be? Shifting quality / speed or .....?
