    Hey guys and gals...

Planning a trip to Croatia with my better half in June.

First off - we intend on spending about 12 nights between 2/3 different towns(islands) - has anyone done this kind of thing on here before? If so, tips?

Secondly - We are struggling to get direct flights to Split - is anyone able to help? Who flies?

    Thanks in advance folks

    Lash

You could fly to Dubrovnik (Aer Lingus), and then use ferries to travel around the islands down that end of things. Korcula, Hvar, Sipan are all gorgeous. Dubrovnik itself is fantastic. Mljet is a National Park, it's really beautiful. If you particularly want to see Split, I'm sure there's ferries will take you there from the islands. Trogir is a UNESCO heritage site near Split, also gorgeous.

The ferries are like buses over there, it's really easy to travel around (or was when I did it a few years ago anyway).

That's the only bit of the country I'm really familiar with, I'm sure others will be along with other recommendations, but I can certainly recommend that end of the country/coast!

ETA - Ryanair also fly to Zadar, north of Split if that's any use to you.....

Nice one for the response. Yea looking at flying to Dubrov as an option (looks to be only option so far). I'm reading that the ferry to Hvar from Dubrov is an absolute camel ride. We would probably break this up with a stay Korcula, and then go to Hvar from there.....But then we are stuck with the camel ride back to dubro for our flight home so would like to try break this up....decisions decisions...

One way flights - to Dubrovnik (AL), from Zadar (Ryanair)?
